Wie beginnen / How to start ?

A new blog, new impulses, a new hobby - and you want to show your creations, share them, tell about the various creative journeys, who led to the  finished products. Show the ideas behind, what it was, that you saw and wanted to capture. And what found it's own way into your creations during the process and all the experimenting.

Why bi-lingual? Because it is good exercise for my rusty school-english and because scrapbooking, altered and mixed media art and art journaling are trends, which originate in english-speaking countries.

Paper is to be the subject here. As it is in my other blog - "Von Pappe"- , where paper theatre and old papercraft-sheets are the main subjects. Paper and card always had great fascination on me. They smell good, they feel good, they are indredibly versatile and astonishingly durable. It is all of that and more, I like with paper and card. All the enchanted worlds you can create on and with them. By writing, drawing, folding, experimenting.... there is hardly any other material, that is this tender and strong at once. Paper is understatement at it's best. Paper is as undemonstrative as it can make you wonder.
